My name is Heather and I am the owner and certified dog trainer for Proud of My Dog.  I have completed and maintain my KPA and Fear Free certifications and took the necessary steps to become AnimalKind accredited.  With these qualifications, you can be assured that your training journey with me will be fear free and positive.

Working with me will introduce you to games-based training.  Using games, your dog will grow the skills of calmness, focus, and a willingness to interact with you in any situation. Games-based training is a fun and effective way to raise a puppy, navigate the adolescent years, build a solid recall, and teach great loose leash walking.

Group classes are taught in-person in New Denver (spring through fall), Nakusp (spring), Kaslo (spring) and on-line year round.
