Caspian Acres Farm

Caspian Acres is a regenerative water buffalo farm nestled in the Slocan Valley on unceded Sinixt Territory, with water buffalo at the heart of everything we do. Our floodplain and upland forest property is home to a thriving herd, a heritage orchard bursting with cornelian cherry, quince, medlar, plum, and more, and an ever-growing tapestry of perennial and annual plants cultivated for food, medicine, and beauty.
We love sharing this place with visitors. Join us for a guided farm tour, meet the buffalo up close through our Animal Chairapy™ program, explore forest trails, swim in the river, or paddle from our beach. Our seasonal workshops bring guests into the rhythm of the farm — from tree grafting and mushroom foraging to preserves, Persian flatbread, and traditional ferments. Schools, families, and healing-minded travelers are all warmly welcome.
What the land gives, we love to share. Visit our farm stand to find preserves, orchard fruit, nursery plants, and seasonal harvests — a little taste of what grows here.
Rooted in Persian and Doukhobor heritage, Caspian Acres is a living example of how regenerative farming can heal land, nourish community, and create something truly worth visiting.
